Canada’s hip-hop scene continues to impress thanks to a killer new single from melodically-inclined artist TJB.
So many elements of this track are beautiful: the fluttering pianos, the muted backing vocal that hypnotically murmurs the title, and most vitally the raspy, passionate performance from TJB himself. He’s very good at projecting his voice, and its his throat-shredding delivery that turns what could have have simply been a subdued banger into a genuine cathartic masterpiece. The emotional power here really is impressive: there’s a rawness to TJB’s voice that would undoubtedly ensure him success in other genres. For now though, make you stream ‘All the Time’ here and get to know another of Canada’s brightest, boldest talents.
