Starting out as a softly-sung ballad, Jounin N1¥’s ‘Everyday’ quickly evolves into a raucous pop punk track.
We’ve written about him before, but it really must be noted that throughout his career Jounin has become not only a great singer but also a keen and highly adept songwriter. On this genre-fusing banger, he demonstrates a talent for switching up his delivery in the most abrupt and jarring of situations. The latter half of the song is a throwback to the most extreme degree, the guitars that flank the artist’s vocals evoking memories of mosh pits and stage dives. By using the bold, brash sound of mid-2000s rock music as a foundation for his sound, Jounin welcomes its most emotionally potent elements into his ever-evolving repertoire. This track is also an example of Jounin using even fewer vocal effects, the rawness of his voice more than carrying ‘Everyday’’s boundless energy. An essential track for your spring playlist, this high-octane genre blender deserves your attention. Check it out here.
