Continuing this weeks trend of intentionality, todays pair of tunes exhibit keen control over sound. The first is from an artist known as tris, from her catalogue as discarded. Under this former alias, tris lays down “miami”, a stereo-focused lofi beat that rocks on through reverb before dissolving peacefully with the tides. Following this is “144” from cryptic producer 64N746R3M71N, a valley of overdriven drums guarding spare layers of synthesisers. True to the tag of “trance”, its easy to become lost as repetitive motions suggest a fall into the mangled matrix of cybertrap. Listen to these two below, and check back tomorrow for two new songs.
